HDYD: OPEN CONVERSATIONS ABOUT OPPORTUNITIES, PITFALLS AND WAYS TO SUCCES
How Do You Do (HDYD) is an event-format with a horizontal character. No top down-talks but an accumulation of inspiring conversation settings with experts in which participants choose per timeslot in what conversation they would like to participate.
During HDYD not only the final result is important, but also the development process on the way: How do you do? I.e.: how did you – eventually – successfully realised the product/project?
HDYD offers a basis for honest, open and focused conversations about pitfalls, important lessons for the future and ways to succes. Because of the horizontal character not only knowledge and experience are being exchanged, but also new connections are made and networks expanded.
AN EXAMPLE OF HDYD:
At RDM Innovation Dock Rotterdam we organized during 1 day 70 sessions about digital innovation with themes as Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Responsible Design & Created by Robots.
THE POSSIBILITIES
The HDYD format lends itself to every industry/area and can offer specific theme’s and dilemma’s. Within only a few hours a lot more experts can share their knowledge than during a regular top down-event like a conference.
Depending on the possibilities and wishes a taylor-made HDYD-edition can be organised with between 10 and 100 experts that will conversate about ‘the making of’. Between 50 and 800 participants can participate at the same time. This format can function on it’s own as well as be a part of a bigger whole
